Say hello to Mildred, our solid sterling silver earrings with 14k gold vermeil details. She has two dangly legs with heart shaped gold vermeil feet, and a dangly tail with a heart shaped gold vermeil tip. The french hooks are solid sterling silver & the earrings will come packaged in a lovely gift pouch. Mildred was designed and hand drawn by One Button founder Amanda, and then translated into sterling silver by a silversmith.

For our 925 sterling silver jewellery we use 14 carat solid gold of at least 2.5 microns thickness. Vermeil is a technique originating in the 19th century where gold was applied to sterling silver. Vermeil is 5 times thicker than normal gold plate (which can tarnish & wear off) and therefore far more durable for your jewellery.
