A gorgeous piece, the Love Boat, aptly named with a gold heart on top of the mast and a cute dangle fish. The necklace fastens with a lobster claw clasp & will come packaged in a lovely velvet gift pouch. We recommend storing your silver jewellery in the pouch to protect from air & dust. Mildred was designed and hand drawn by One Button founder Amanda, and then translated into sterling silver by a silversmith.
For our 925 sterling silver jewellery we use 14 carat solid gold of at least 2.5 microns thickness. Vermeil is a technique originating in the 19th century where gold was applied to sterling silver. Vermeil is 5 times thicker than normal gold plate (which can tarnish & wear off) and therefore far more durable for your jewellery.
